Research Trend of Cognitive Behavioral Art Therapy (2005-2020) : Focusing on Domestic Academic Journals

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trend of cognitive behavioral art therapy in order to explore the research flow and suggest a direction of the research. For this, 55 dissertations published in domestic journals throughout the year 2005 up until 2020 were collected and the year of the research, research subjects, research methods, and research contents were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, while the trend of the year of the research was the highest for research dissertations in 2015, dissertations are being published steadily. Second, for the trend of the characteristics in each of the research subjects, the highest number of researches was targeted on teenagers in terms of age organization and problematic behaviors appeared the most as the trend of the research subjects. Third, for the trend of the research methods, HTP and K-HTP were most common as the projective test and objective test is being used as the measurement tool with the highest ratio of cognitive domain. Fourth, there were many collective art therapy, and sessions and times were the most studied in more than 10 sessions and 70 minutes. In addition, goals and expected effects have been a lot of research on self-understanding, and art expression methods have been used a lot of easily available tools such as crayons and oil pastels in the drawing area. This study is meaningful that it can be used as a basic data for the development of cognitive behavioral art therapy.
